Why is it that only about 5% of those who get involved with the traditional type of MLM marketing structure ever make a significant income? The remaining 95% make very little if anything and eventually drop out. The reason is in the marketing system itself. There are always those that are good at recruiting that make the fast start bonus and other incentives from those they are able to recruit, while the majority of those they recruit are unable to duplicate the process for themselves.

With the traditional system, down line members are provided lip service in the form of motivation. Those making the money always encourage their down lines. They try to motivate them by providing motivational speakers and materials, some even go so far as to actually give away a referral now and then.
