Find Out How MLM Was Brutaly Murdered By The Internet

The year is 1989. The Berlin wall goes down, the World Wide Web goes up. Communism collapses globalisation quickly takes its place. What do all these events have to do with the MLM industry? The birth of the internet in 1989 started a new era in the history of mankind. Peoples’ ways of doing things were set to change forever. No where else are these changes more felt than in the world of business and commerce. The MLM industry was not spared.

In the good old days all that an MLM’er had to do was to work hard for about 3-5 years, build a huge and loyal down line then comfortably retire to enjoy a steady life long flow of residual income. An income that he could even pass on to his grand children.

Unfortunately, all this has changed. Almost every day a new company is launched promising heaven on earth. People are sold on the idea of joining at the ground floor and get the first mover advantage. They constantly jump from company to company searching for the holly grail.

This doesn’t mean that originally in the old days new companies were not opening up. They were but the internet is making the speed at which information is flowing and the ease with which one can sign-up for a new program frighteningly fast.

The number of new people coming into network marketing is out of proportion to the number of new company start-ups. The problem is, there are only a certain number of people to go around. This then opens you up to the Prelaunch syndrome. This is the company’s chance to catch the networkers and get them away from what they are currently marketing.

The Prelaunch gives them a promise of getting started right when the company is getting off its feet, and there are not many people involved. Now, as the marketer switches gears to start up with this new company, another PreLaunch is offered, this time giving promises to be the biggest and best with their product, that it will change the world. There you have it, the cycle begins.

Networkers want to be on top, right? As this cycle continues, more and more companies will prelaunch every 9 to 12 months, the people in the other companies scramble to get to the top, and the companies they leave fail. Obviously, you can see how this puts companies at each other’s throats trying to get warm bodies. This can involve much ugly name-calling, back-stabbing, and lawsuits to boot. Remember, in network marketing, people are the hot commodity that is traded, making you very valuable to all of these companies.

Now where does all this leave you and me? Should we entirely give up on the much cherished idea of leverage and residual income? The good news is that there is a new business model that is quickly replacing the traditional MLM model. Through this business model one can truly achieve financial freedom. The beauty of this model is that the money comes in pretty fast, you don’t have to spend years and years building a huge down line only to get tiny pay checks at the end of it all. Find out here what this new business model is.
