The Most Crucial Moment Of Your MLM Business

Let me put it bluntly. The most crucial period of your MLM business is the first 30 days.

That’s right. Statistics show that a whooping 89% to 95% of all network marketers quit MLM because they never made a single penny during the first 30 to 60 days.

Let’s face it. The MLM industry primarily appeals to people who are sick of employment, who want to achieve financial freedom and be their own boss. So they switch to network marketing, with the hope that they will make money easily.

And guess what, lots of people who switched from the employment world to the home based business arena don’t make money in their first 30 days. This is because the skills set, work ethics and job routine are totally different between the two worlds.

If you want to make money in network marketing during your first 30 to 60 days, don’t just jump into the next “hottest opportunity” in town. Study the opportunity first. Observe if the upline has a system of marketing and recruitment that you can easily copy and duplicate. If there is no such system present, chances are, you will be left in the dark after you sign up.

In other words, you will just become another MLM orphan. Your upline gave birth to you but he or she didn’t feed you and mentor you.

Personally, whenever a new distributor signs up to my downline, I devote the first seven days into training the new recruit about product knowledge, our private members area, and the compensation plan of our business.

Then after those seven days, I issue master copies of my personally proven ads and articles so they too, can use it to advertise their business.

Distributing viral e-books to your new members is also important. Give them a detailed step by step plan of what to do during their first month. Most of their initial marketing efforts may not work, but at least you are keeping them busy and they are learning during the process. That is so much better than not taking any action at all.
