With so much mlm training material out there today, what should you go with? Do you even need training? Well the answer to that is simple, if your not producing the signups that you’re looking to produce then you should probably seek out some good training materials.

So what’s good training? Let’s break down the old school techniques that have never worked efficiently. Now I know some of you out there may call me an idiot because these techniques may have worked for you but notice; I did not say they never work, I said never worked efficiently. Here’s a quick list of bad practices, with explanations.

1. Making list of your warm market: this is bad because you should be learning how to market and sell the product, not chasing friends and family. Not time effective and once you run out of warm market then what? And who has a ready to go list of 100 people anyway?

2. Buying biz opp leads: they cost way too much! If you were to go out to buy a car and you asked for a Mercades and they brought out terrible lemon car would you take it? That’s exactly what these lead companies are doing to you. First of all you can get a ten times more targeted lead on Google AdWords for less money. Secondly, as we all know those leads are not super rare 5 seconds old never been touched condition, they all stink and the lead companies can say whatever they want about them. Have you ever gotten a super fresh lead that says, “This is the tenth time you called!”

3. Buying advertising materials: you should definitely think about mlm training if your main source of advertising is some business cards. It’s 2007 people we have the internet now. Don’t get me wrong now all of these things can work, but it goes back to what I said earlier. Aren’t you doing this so that you can have more free time, make more money, and spend more time with you’re family? Then why are we wasting our time on very time consuming projects! Learn good internet marketing and you will be very profitable.

Now maybe you’re also having some trouble with closing deals. This has always been a problem for the majority but the companies never really help out too much. They try but when you just have random people from the company trying to teach what it takes experts years to learn it just doesn’t work. Prospecting and closing is a definite reason to invest in some mlm training material because there is so much valuable information and detail to be covered. You could have your script down to a T but there are still some things you could be doing wrong. You may even need to change your script, a companies script isn’t etched in stone, ther’s always room for improvement.

Finally if you’re just having trouble talking to people in the first place; getting them to calls, setting up appointments. You know what they say, “The yes’s are good the nos aren’t bad but the maybes kill you.” Reason being, when you’re prospecting it’s better if you just get all of the nos out of the way as quickly as possible. But when you deal with the maybe people that’s when it becomes rather time consuming. After a live company call, when you’re following up with a prospect you want only three possible conclusions: they buy, they hang up, or you hang up. No, umm… I have to talk to my wife. That only leads to five more pointless phone calls that get you no where fast.

In closing mlm training can literally boost your sales greatly and turn your business in a complete 180 back towards success. Just be teachable and practice and in the end you’ll be successful.
