Why Kids Do Better Than Adults At Making Money Online

OK, so not every kid does better than every adult. But Ashley Qualls and her $70,000 per month is not to be sneezed at. Even young Carl Ocab, at $800-$1000 per month is doing better than 80% of the adult online marketers.

When it comes to making money online, the average kid is more motivated than the average adult, for one simple reason. Adults have an easier alternative for making income.

It may sound strange to suggest that having a regular job is easier than having an internet business. After all, there’s the bitchy co-workers, the horrible commute, the soul-destroying environment, and the feeling of being trapped, having to turn up five days a week, week in, week out, all year round.

On the other hand, a job has one big advantage – you don’t have to go looking for opportunities to do something. If you have a job, you don’t have to be proactive each and every day. If you’re feeling lousy, you can turn up and look like you’re doing something, and you still get paid. In most places, they aren’t even allowed to penalise you for performing poorly when you are sick. Having to turn up to your job means you’re not at home with the lure of the TV set, or spending hours on random browsing. The circumstances around you keep you “in the groove” of doing what you need to do to make your income.

No so for your internet business. Starting a business, any business, requires putting in a lot of energy before you start to see rewards. You have to make plans, create strategies, follow through, test and measure, adjust, test again … all before you’re pulling even the minimum weekly wage.

The lure of just turning up, doing what you are told, and getting an instant paycheck is fairly seductive.

Kids don’t have that option until they are teenagers. Before then, everything they do to make money is self-generated. They are used to having to be creative and proactive. They expect to think, plan, and exert effort to get their income.

Catch them at that stage, steer them in the direction of something that can grow with them, and produces passive income to boot, and you are setting them up for life.
