Internet Multi-Level Marketing Book – How to Get the Most Bang for Your Buck
If you are like most new multi-level marketers you were most likely instructed to read a book on MLM or network marketing right after you were sponsored. There are really some great books out there. A couple of the greats are, Your First Year in Network Marketing by Mark Yarnell. Then of course the wave books by Richard Poe are very enlightening.
These are just a few examples of great books written by multi-level marketing greats. The only issue with them is that they are very old school. They only address the “old way” of network marketing. It is now the internet age and it is time to do some reading to learn about how to market online.
So how do you find the best book to learn about online multi-level marketing?
If you are just getting started on the internet and looking around to try to get a feel for how to market online, be careful! The internet is full of savvy salespeople who want to make money by selling their e-book. Some provide more value than others. And, to be honest some are just a complete waste of money!
A good place to start finding a good online marketing book is from referrals. Referrals from a successful up line leader or from someone you built a relationship with online. An important note is to make sure your referral has been successful with online marketing themselves!
My time online has allowed me to experience it both ways. The best books I have bought have been recommended from successful mentors. Yes, I have bought a few from recommendations from others and pretty much just threw my money away.
How do you build a relationship with someone online?
The best resources I have bought on the net have been from a very successful online multi-level marketer. He had a catchy page so I gave him my name and email. I was pleasantly surprised at what followed. He sent value packed emails to me everyday. To be truthful I really looked forward to reading his emails. By the time I had come onto his list I had already been burned by buying some useless books so I didn’t buy right away.
This is the relationship period. With every value packed email I could tell he knew his stuff. By the time I bought his book I was very satisfied. In fact I had 100 times better results after reading his book and starting to apply his concepts.
