It’s funny how so many home based business owners don’t establish a daily action plan and stick to it religiously. In this industry we get paid for results, we do not get paid by the hour, and sticking to profit producing activities is the only way your going to produce results that actually get you paid.
Operating your home based business is so momentum based, and you can kill that momentum by not sticking to a daily action plan. By consistently sticking with your daily activities, you build your momentum up exponentially. The problem that most people face building a home based business, is they lack the discipline to focus on a daily action plan that produces tangible results.
And it’s easy to confuse action that produces zero results, with actions that produce actual profits. Surfing the internet, answering emails, organizing your notes, or making sure you have enough pens at your desk, do not constitute activities that produce results.
How many connections with potential customers did you make today? How many new ads did you place, in order to generate new prospects? How many follow up calls did you make today? These are all important questions you need to ask yourself, because these are actions that actually produce results.
If self discipline is not one of your personality traits, then you need to acquire it fast, because it’s the only way you’re going to see success. You must be disciplined enough to stick to an action plan of substance, by sticking to this action plan every single day, you’d be surprised at how quickly your results will compound themselves.
It’s not hard to establish a daily method of operation, by keeping it simple, you allow yourself to produce positive results. If you only have two hours per day to allocate towards your business fine, make sure those two hours everyday are highly productive. How many calls do I need to make? How many new connections do I need to make? How many follow up calls do I need to make? These are all questions you need to ask yourself in order to establish a daily method of operation of true value, again stick to the activities that produce profits.
Establish a solid daily method of operation, and the profits will follow. Massive action produces massive results. You can’t create those massive results with out a rock solid daily action plan.
