In network marketing many distributors find themselves spinning their wheels when it comes to building a very success downline. What I find to be interesting is that 95% of the teachings that are being taught to network marketers have nothing too do with marketing. The industry is called network marketing for a reason but marketing is not being taught. What I suggest too many of my clients is to learn how to generate their own mlm sales leads. The next question they typically ask me is how do I do my own lead generation? I get asked this question 98% of the time. This is why their is such a massive failure rate in network marketing. Nobody knows any traffic and mlm lead generating strategies.
Most upline leaders are teaching mostly the traditional ways of building a network marketing business. No need to mention those ways because we all know what they are. MLM Lead Generating is the most important activity that must be done in network marketing by yourself. Without leads, your business is dead. Most networkers are taught to buy leads from lead vendors. I would advise against this practice since the leads that are purchased from lead companies are not the right kind of leads for network marketing. You never really know were the leads are coming from or how their being generated. Out sourcing the lead generation of a network marketing business is not wise.
Buying leads from lead companies creates competition for the distributor who buys them. How? Because those same leads are sold to five to ten other distributors in other mlm companies. The caliber of the leads that you get are very bad because their so generic in nature. In other words, the leads on your list never requested information on a network marketing business. They requested information on a home based business. You will also keep spending your money on the leads until you, the distributor, spends themself right out of the business. This doesn’t include all the time and rejection an individual has to deal with. MLM lead generating done correctly will not only generate the highest quality of prospects but also put money in your pocket at the same time so the funding of a network marketing business never dry’s up. Most distributors quit network marketing within three to six months because of two things. Lack of money and leads for their business. Solve these two issue’s and success in MLM is yours.
