3 Reasons MLM and Network Marketing Doesn’t Work

1. The first reason MLM and network marketing does not work is obvious. You must work it like a business. Too often a new representative gets excited about an opportunity. They dream about how easy it is going to be to build a business. But, they fail to do one important thing, work.
If you do not treat this like a business it will not work. You must put in the time and effort to build a business. This is a harsh reality but your business will not grow on dreams alone!
2. The next reason it does not work is because the training is inadequate. Most new people are being trained by people who do not really know what they are doing. This creates more people who don’t know what to do. This becomes a viscous cycle.
You must stop this cycle and take time for proper training. It is important to get training from those successful in your up line. But, don’t be afraid to be innovative. Seek out effective training from other sources. If what your up line is teaching you to do is not working for you look for a better way.
From your training make your business your own. Implement new ideas that you learn and do it in a big way. All successful business people bring something new to the table. So stop being afraid to try something out of the box. The results may surprise you!
3. Third mistake is new reps do not learn from their mistakes they just quit. The attrition rate in MLM and network marketing is atrocious. It is partly to blame on the presentation that got them to join the business. It is always portrayed as easy to build a business.
Can you imagine if your local gas station just shut his business down because he came to one obstacle? Sometimes it only takes one bad experience for someone to quit their new business. They don’t usually just quit, they bad mouth the industry for years after as well!
It is time for you to decide to work your MLM and network marketing business. It won’t do the work for you. Put in the time and effort and you will reap the benefits. Proper training will make your road to success smoother. Get a mentor to help you through your challenges. Just like anything in life your business will have bad days along with the good days.
