The Problem With Internet MLM - Distraction!

The biggest problem with using the internet to build your MLM business is distraction. There are so many ways to get distracted on the internet, and not focus your efforts on building your business, that you can easily loose focus.

Last night I was leading a training call for my team members and I was sharing with them my 90 day plan that I had implemented a week ago. I shared that I had let my own efforts slip lately, and I was not generating the quantity of leads needed to grow my business at the pace I wanted. So I was refocusing, and really working instead of just “acting” like I was working.

After I shared my story, one of the ladies on my team spoke up. She shared that she was brand new to internet marketing when she joined my team. Instead of getting started building her traffic funnels using the techniques we share, she had gotten bogged down in distraction.

Once she realized the power of the internet, suddenly she started surfing - a dangerous thing to do. She go so caught up in the sites that claim “I made $20,000 in 24 hours” - that she completely lost focus. She had subscribed to so many mailing lists, she was being bombarded with information that was simply to much to absorb. She was basically overwhelmed!

This is so easy to do, I even fall trap to a well written sales letter and I have been making money online since 2001! I was so happy to hear her share where she was with her business, it really opened my eyes to what can happen in your business. Of course, she has committed to her own 90 day MLM plan for success, and is now back on track.

To really grow your business, you cannot let yourself be distracted. You need an almost laser like focus on success. On the internet, success comes from dedicating yourself to tasks that generate traffic to your landing pages. Focus on this simple tactic, and you will experience success!
